😅whoever the mystery users is that upvotes my posts in the Seinfeld community I made! I appreciate you, whoever you are! We may have a ridiculously tiny community (a whopping 7 subscribers) but it always makes me happy to see that one little upvote to know that I’m not the only one who enjoys the Seinfeld clips I post.
Drop the community below 👀
https://lemmy.ml/c/seinfeld < the community!
Also if anyone reading this has a favorite TV show that you’d like a specific clip of (i.e. a scene or line), let me know. I recently learned how to clip/upload HD content from movies/TV shows and I don’t mind making custom clips for people.
Woah, can you teach me how to clip?
If you’re using a PC (Windows 10 ideally), I can write a little guide here or even make a dedicated submission so others can find it. I torrent all movies/TV shows that I want to make clips out of, so that’s how I get my source material. I can include how to torrent TV shows/movies too if you’d like that to be part of the guide. Once you learn it, you’ll never pay for TV/movies again, eBooks too.
Legally I can’t say yes…
But illegally, let me know

Devs : let’s not do user follows to not make this a stupid popularity contest.
OP : did someone say popularity contest ?
Note that I myself follow a lot of users 😀 (just not lemmy ones, as it doesn’t work)
I find this post too Reddit-like, honestly. What is this favourite user crap even, some kind of social media validation technique?
I personally don’t see it as a popularity contest. I see it more as an opportunity to show appreciation to other users of this community.
The difference with a popularity contest being?
A popularity contest is based on competition and can be exclusionary. In this case, it’s not about saying “which user is better than X user”, it’s only about thanking them for their contribution (at least that’s how I have interpreted it).
The main goal is to praise the most voted condidates, the others being diminished is only a side effects. Exactly how a popularity contest works.

These are for me the most interesting users to read about (among others, I mean I would put more, but the list would be too long!)
thanks :P

🥰 why?
In your comments you show that you know a lot about free software, programming languages and the Fediverse in general (I have learned a lot here thanks to people like you) and you seem like a friendly person :D
Thanks 😘 .

ahah, thanks! I’m curious why you picked me though, I barely post, mainly just read/lurk 🙃
You usually make very interesting comments about open source software, you are very friendly with the community, and you contribute a lot to Lemmy. So yeah, imo you deserve it :)
That’s very nice of you, thanks! :3
Thanks, glad to hear it! :)
