A community dedicated to fediverse news and discussion.
Fediverse is a portmanteau of “federation” and “universe”. It is a common, informal name for a federation of social network servers whose main purpose is microblogging, the sharing of short, public messages.
Getting started on Fediverse;
For devs;
Blahaj.zone for #microfedi blogging. (Self run on Calckey)
Lemmy.blahaj.zone for Lemmy. (Self run)
Bookwyrm.social for books
Pixelfed.au for photos
@OptimusPrime Wandering.shop and Photog.social for Mastodon, one for general talk and the other for photography. Photog.social is the kind of place where people both post their photos and talk about their gear and/or process.
Also Pixelfed.social (I was an early adopter) and Bookwyrm.social (the other instances around when I joined looked too specific), and a self-hosted WordPress blog with the ActivityPub plugin.
@OptimusPrime Friendica (which I’m posting from right now) Pump.io, Plemora/Soapbox, Mastodon, GNU Social, Mobilzon (which is like MeetUp), i think that’s it, unless you count XMPP/Jabber, Matrix, and email which are also federated services.
@OptimusPrime
I forgot I have a bookwyrm account but the import of my CSV “library book queu” the way I wanted to I haven’t really liked at it again, though I had planned to massage the data and find out
Social network Friendica (venera.social instanc), Hubzilla (freehub.space instanc), Misskey (misskey.social instanc). And also, I have many accounts on various servers in Mastodon, PixellFeed and PeerTube. Moreover, some of these servers are no longer available at the moment. I have been interested in this topic for many years and have researched different servers. By the way, I also had accounts in the Diaspora social network on several servers.

mastodon and pixelfed
https://kbin.pub ;)
What’s your reason of using kbin when you’re already using Lemmy as Reddit alt?
Not really, this is my main account, szmer is my friend’s instance which I use to work on Lemmy integration.
@OptimusPrime @Ernest @XpeeN
I see that Lemmy compatibility of kbin is improving :)
@OptimusPrime commenting from Mastodon! I am a member of a fairly small instance for “wiki-enthusiasts”. Right now I only have accounts on Mastodon and Lemmy instances. Maybe I’ll get back into publishing videos and make an account on a Peertube instance.
Mastodon and pixelfed both self-hosted
Self run Ktistec, and Mastodon
Thanks for mentioning Ktistec, that looks like a neat one user Mastodon instance alternative.
Vivaldi social, Mastodon social, Climatejustice rocks, Todon eu, and some others as i find interesting things browsing the fediverse
misskey, mastodon, pixelfed
@OptimusPrime self-hosted Mastodon
